Our dedicated pharmacists are here to provide free, confidential advice and support to help you find the right contraceptive pill for your needs. This is an NHS service, eligibility criteria apply, see details below or ask in-store.

Inclusion Criteria for the Combined Oral Contraceptive (COC) Pill

Individual (age: from menarche up to and including 49 years of age) presenting for:

   o Initiation of first-time oral contraception

   o Initiation of oral contraception after a pill free break

   o Initiation of a new (to the patient) oral contraceptive

   o Ongoing supply of their current oral contraception.

Able to confirm blood pressure and BMI, as per the specification, prior to supply.

Inclusion Criteria for the Progesterone Only Pill (POP)

Individual (age: from menarche up to and including 54 years) presenting for:

   o Initiation of first-time oral contraception  

   o Initiation of oral contraception after a pill free break

   o Initiation of a new (to the patient) oral contraceptive

   o Ongoing supply of their current oral contraception
